About Me

I have worked in both individual and group settings for over 15 years. I graduated with a BA in Sociology from Fordham University in the Bronx, NY and a Masters in Social Work from Hunter College in New York City. I am also certified
as a Perinatal Mental Health Professional from Postpartum Support International.
Early in my career, I had the opportunity to work in community-based settings where I learned the skills to help clients overcome fixed mindsets and develop healthy behaviors to succeed both emotionally and socially.
Later in my career, I led new mom’s support groups to help mothers navigate this unique time of life in a supportive and non-judgmental community.
As a psychotherapist, I have had the privilege to work with individuals who are brave enough to openly discuss difficult life transitions and learn the tools to deal with them. It is truly inspiring to witness the tenacity of individuals who take the time to be the best they can be.
I believe my intuition and good listening skills as well as authentic ability to hold a non-judgmental space for clients are where my strengths lie. It is in this environment that clients have the chance to tell their story and learn how to realize their healthiest self. Once people are given the opportunity to express themselves with a caring and supportive therapist, change can lead to revelations that can lead to renewal.
I’m a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Perinatal Mental Health Professional with a certification through Postpartum Support International. I’d love to help you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery.
